Restaurant
The Collina degli Olivi offers lunch and dinner to guests and visitors as well in the Restaurant of the Collina. Our special dishes are inspired by the simplest traditional Tuscan cuisine. On reservation, we will prepare fancy appetizers based on cold cuts and cheeses from our production sided with tasty crostini; our first courses are delicious: typical Tuscan style pasta (the ragù is from Emilia Romagna!), with pigeon, duck or rabbit (these are bred in our fields). We also have a “florentine” dressing, with mixed meats and sausage on top.
For vegetarians, depending on the season, we prepare delicate risottos with local vegetables, enriched with the famous San Gimignano saffron.
The Chianina is the queen of our main courses. It can be served as a sumptuous fiorentina steak, a delicious peposo or a tasty stew “Caterina de' Medici” style. Our meats are cooked by Marco in our ancient wood-fire oven. We have a special choice of main courses for vegetarians as well.
Cakes are prepared with seasonal fruit by the creativity of Silvia.
Olive oil, wine, spirits and vinegar are also produced by us!
